WHo is Reggie Kerr !!

The Founder of Serenity Int. Ministries
Regina “Reggie” Kerr is a native Houstonian and the founder of Serenity International Ministries and Serenity TV. She is dedicated to serving others, the local church, and assisting those struggling in life. With a desire to encourage and support others, she founded SIM in 2011. The goal of SIM is to serve people where they are, locally or internationally, with prayer, hospital visits, encouragement, or other forms of spiritual support. STV was established to bring the testimonies of believers and former non-believers in Jesus Christ, to a local and International television and internet audience. Through media and local outreach, our goal is to spread the word of God and bring as many people to Christ as possible in these last days.
Reggie is a Minister, Chaplain, Crisis Responder, and public speaker with a joy for life, and a heart to serve people in need. Her comment, “I want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to all those in need”, is a personal testament to her attitude toward life and faith. Reggie felt the call to ministry in 2008 and left her full time career in the Houston real estate market to follow the path she felt God was opening up for her. She dedicated herself to studying the word of God, discovering her spiritual gifts and volunteering in ministries or charities which would mold her into a person God could use and build her understanding of Jesus Christ.
Reggie has been a faithful member and volunteer at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas since 2005. Through the Bible based teachings of Lakewood Church and other ministries she follows, Reggie learned God’s word and His will for her life. “Lakewood Church asked for one year of my life, but they gave me eternity” states Reggie. She continues to serve at Lakewood while experiencing fellowship with some of the strongest, most dynamic Christians she has ever met.
Ordained in 2009, Reggie has served in many ministries and outreach programs through her current church and local ministries. There is a special place in her heart for helping people in crisis or overcoming addictions and substance abuse. A recovered alcoholic herself, she gives hope and support, and offers resources to help those needing assistance in these areas. “God delivered me from a hopeless state of mind and body and gave me the ability to be calm in a crisis and have a compassionate heart for others” says Reggie. She fulfills God’s call for her in this area by being a Chaplain for Victim Relief Ministries, whose goal is to provide HELP, HOPE and COMFORT to victims of crime, disaster and terrorism. Recently Reggie became one of the first Chaplains of PACT (Houston Police and Clergy Team), which provide spiritual support to victims of local crime and violence.
God is using Reggie to comfort and guide others to Christ as He guides her in her own walk of faith. Reggie’s commitment to helping others is evident through her lifestyle of service. She currently resides in downtown Houston, Texas.
